As a technology business, we understand the importance of optimising the way we work for a sustainable future. A key element of this is our design process, and working with organisations to learn and develop best practices, allowing us to benchmark our progress against globally recognised objectives.
So, we are pleased to have improved our recent EcoVadis rating from Silver to Platinum, which puts us in the top 1% of companies across a wide spectrum of sectors.
EcoVadis is a globally recognised platform that screens over two million companies in over 220 countries, helping them to manage ESG risk and compliance by guiding sustainability performance improvements. The EcoVadis score reflects the quality of a company’s sustainability management system at the time of the assessment. EcoVadis Medals and Badges recognize eligible companies that have completed the EcoVadis assessment process and demonstrated a strong management system that addresses sustainability criteria, as outlined in the EcoVadis methodology. The eligibility criteria for medals and badges are reviewed periodically.
We previously held Silver status, which placed us in the top 15% of assessed companies. Our new status is Platinum, which now places us in the top 1% of assessed companies.
Managing Director, Graeme Nicholas commented,
“Everyone talks about sustainability, especially in the commercial world. But getting a return on the investment we make in being a small part of a creating a better future world is often hard to obtain measure.
“Sometimes that determination is recognised by others such as EcoVadis, a recognised global authority. To obtain a status of Top 1% by EcoVadis is indeed validation of our investment in our company’s “Yara” Carbon Neutral & Net Zero Sustainability Program.”
